The autopilot system offers two key configurable settings:
1. Content Updates: Set to weekly by default, this setting checks for new and updated pages on your website. You can customize the frequency to hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly depending on how often your content changes and your organization's needs.
2. Content Depth: Configured for 90 days by default, this setting determines the timeframe to optimize relevant content discovery. You can extend this period up to three years to ensure comprehensive content coverage for organizations with extensive historical information.
Hands-Off Content Management
The autopilot system continuously works behind the scenes, detecting when you've published new blog posts, updated contact information, added event listings, or modified any other content on your website. It intelligently prioritizes important changes (like new announcements or policy updates) while efficiently processing routine modifications, ensuring your search results stay accurate without overwhelming your website's performance during content updates.
You have complete control if you want to adjust the frequency of updates—perhaps setting more frequent scans during busy periods like enrollment seasons or budget announcement cycles, or reducing frequency for more static websites. However, the default settings work perfectly for most organizations, meaning you can literally set up Searcheble once and never think about content maintenance again.
